After breakfast, your adventure kicks off with a scenic drive to Manali. As we journey through Pandoh, Aut, and Kullu, you’ll witness some incredible sights—rivers winding through valleys, cascading waterfalls, and charming wooden bridges. We’ll make a few picturesque stops along the way, including the Pandoh Dam and Hanogi Devi Temple. There’s even a chance to visit shawl-weaving factories or pay homage at the Vaishno Devi Temple in Kullu. We arrive in Manali by late afternoon. The evening is yours to stroll through Old Manali and explore its cozy cafés and market vibes. Overnight stay in Manali.
Buckle up early—we’re setting off at 7:30 AM for the dramatic ride to Kaza. En route, we cross the iconic Rohtang Pass (13,058 ft) and later, the mighty Kunzum Pass (14,950 ft). This day-long journey is packed with ever-changing scenery—from rugged cliffs to glacier-fed streams and postcard-perfect valleys. Along the way, we’ll pause for lunch at Chatru and offer prayers at the Kunzum Devi Temple, a tradition for safe passage. Arrive in Kaza by evening and settle in for the night.
After breakfast, we venture into some of the highest inhabited villages on Earth. In Langza, stroll past homes backed by snowy peaks and maybe spot a fossil or two. Hikkim lets you send a postcard from the world’s highest post office, and Komic, perched at 14,830 feet, is pure magic.
After lunch in Kaza, we continue to Kee Monastery—a stunning structure perched on a hilltop. We will also visit Kibber village, once considered the highest village with motorable access. Keep an eye out for herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex in the surrounding wilderness. Enjoy traditional Tibetan dishes in Kibber before returning to Kaza for the night.
Today we explore the wild beauty of Pin Valley, home to elusive snow leopards and mountain goats. A visit to the ancient Kungri Monastery gives you a glimpse into the spiritual life of this remote land. Later, we drive to Tabo—home to the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery, fondly known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” for its mesmerizing murals and sculptures. Overnight stay in Tabo.
Post breakfast, we make our way to Dhankar, once the seat of Spiti’s rulers, where a cliff-hugging monastery overlooks the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers. After soaking in the view, we return toward Kibber via Kee Monastery, revisiting its serene charm. We spend the night in a cozy guesthouse in Kibber, high in the mountains.
An early start takes us back over Kunzum Pass toward the magical Chandratal Lake. We pause for breakfast in Losar before heading closer to the lake. From the drop-off point, a short 1-km walk rewards you with a jaw-dropping view—Chandratal’s turquoise waters reflecting the Himalayan peaks like a mirror. Stay overnight near the lake in basic tents or at Batal. Watch the stars appear one by one—it’s an unforgettable night under the sky.
After breakfast, we retrace our steps back to Manali, driving once again across Rohtang Pass. We’ll reach by late afternoon, giving you a relaxed evening to explore more of Manali’s charm. Overnight in Manali.
We set off after breakfast for the final leg of your journey. Stop for some last-minute shopping at Kullu’s shawl factories or, if you're feeling adventurous, try river rafting on the Beas River. Lunch en-route and arrive in Chandigarh by evening. Tour ends, but the memories will stay forever.
